I love dark chocolate. My Dad says I’m a gypsy.
I am a Jill-of-all-Trades and a Master-of-none. But that is all right because I have five of the most talented children ever and am blessed beyond measure by them. They are my dearest friends and I love spending my days with them. We have home educated from the beginning; first one graduated.
My husband of 28 years is over-the-moon in love with me and is my best-est friend in the whole world. I love sharing life with him! We have lived in six states – coast to coast, diagonally. My favorite trip was a month-long adventure from Florida to Prince Edward Island, Canada when our oldest two were the only ones.
I dabble in herbalism, aromatherapy, knitting, crochet, sewing, cooking, preserving, gardening, demolition and ideas. Learning to spin is next on my To-Do list (as my son, The Sock Monkey, wants some handspun fiber to knit with). I love old things and relish simplicity and quiet. I am an Ambassador for Plexus Worldwide and am so thankful for the opportunity and for products that have given me my life back.
I am a Christian on the journey of dying to self and living for my Savior. I fall down, get skinned up, but He carries me so I can keep running the race. I’m a slow learner, because I’m also stubborn, and God is so patient with me as I learn to trust Him more. I am humbled as I realize the magnitude of just how much He loves me. I am truly blessed more than I can ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
